Bonds Takes NL's Best Bat Award Saturday, October 1st , 2016 Barry Bonds may be getting older, but he proved in September that he's still got it. The San Francisco Giants left fielder's strong month has seen him named National League Batter of the Month. Bonds batted .341, hit 7 home runs, drove in 23 runs, scored 22 times and compiled a .461 on-base percentage. Thus far this season in 142 games, Bonds is batting .264 with 35 home runs, 94 RBIs and 93 runs scored. He has 124 hits in 470 at-bats. |
