Rockies 8-2 Victors Over Brewers
|
The Colorado Rockies cut down the Milwaukee Brewers by the score of 8-2, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Dante Bichette. Bichette went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Rockies. The winner was Pedro Astacio, who threw 118 pitches over 6.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 5 hits. Bichette put Colorado up, 8-2, when he hit a grand slam home run off Dan Plesac in the bottom of the eighth. His 5th home run of the season helped the Rockies capture the win.
